Rest assured, you will always find a warm welcome at the Berkeley Hotel. Under the personal supervision of Don and Valerie Ford, guests can enjoy this small family-run licensed hotel, recently improved to offer many facilities you can only come to expect in a larger establishment.

Personal care and consideration is given to ensure the highest standard of hospitality and accommodation. Excellent home-cooking is the basis to the preparation of all meals, and the proprietors pride themselves on making your stay in Morecambe a memorable one.

Ideally situated on the West Promenade with a fine panoramic view of Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Hills, the Hotel makes a superb base for exploring the Lake District and Dales, as well as the city of Lancaster and Morecambe itself. Bubbles leisure park and indoor pool, the cinemas and superbowl are within easy walking distance of the hotel. Historic Lancaster is within easy reach with its Castle and also the Maritime Museum. Houses such as Leighton Hall and Levens Hall are also nearby.

All twelve bedrooms are tastefully furnished with en-suite facilities, colour television, complimentary tea and coffee makers and continental quilts. Many of the rooms have splendid views overlooking beautiful Morecambe Bay. For your comfort at all times, the hotel is centrally heated throughout.

The Berkeley features a separate television lounge for guests use, or why not try a drink in our attractive licensed bar with its selection of beers and spirits. Tea, coffee or milk drinks and sandwiches are available on request. Alternatively, try the night entertainment of Morecambe - keys are provided to the bedroom and front door so guests have access to the hotel at all times.

Morecambe is within easy reach of the M6 motorway, If you are traveling north, leave the M6 at junction 34 and take the A683 to Lancaster. Cross the River Lune on the A589 to Morecambe and at the third roundabout turn left down Westgate. Follow the road for three miles to the promenade, turn left at the lights and the Berkeley Hotel is 50 yards on your left hand side.

If you are traveling south, leave the M6 at junction 35 and take the A6 to Bolton-le-Sands and Morecambe. Turn right onto the A589 at the lights, 300 yards after passing the Little Chef Restaurant. Continue for two miles, down onto the Promenade road and head for the West end and Heysham. After passing Reebok, pass through major sets of lights and the Berkeley Hotel is 50 yards on your left hand side.
