City, Coast and Countryside
Our area is made up of city, coast and countryside - Spend a day in each within just a ten mile radius. There really is quite a diverse suite of landscapes and experiences within easy reach.
Spend a day on the beaches and promenade at Morecambe, have an afternoon tea in one of our many cafes. Walk along the promenade to the historic village of Heysham and see St Peters the Saxon church.
Take a day to visit Lancaster with it's bars and restaurants for a shopping day and perhaps a visit to one of the museums, or Williamson Park where the butterfly house can entertain in all weathers.
Take a walk along the Lancaster canal out to Glasson Dock, via the Glasson Flight lock gates, or north to Carnforth and visit the "Brief Encounter" exhibition at the Carnforth Train Station.
So much to see and not that far to travel. Doorstop holidays, where the driver gets a break too.
