A new play set on and inspired by Morecambe Bay
is being staged at The Dukes in the New Year.
Quicksand is a story of forbidden love written by
Zosia Wand wholives in Ulverston.
It opens on January 27 and runs until February 12.
The play tells the love story between a young
English man training to be a solicitor in Lancaster,
and a Polish woman who arrives inUlverston to search
for the mother who abandoned her 25 years ago.
